Ingredients:
- 1/4 c. light mayonnaise
- 3/4 c. bottled Italian dressing
- 1/8 c. olive oil
- 1 tsp. dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. red pepper flakes, or to taste
Directions:
- Dressing: In a bowl, combine all ingredients and whisk.
- Creamy Pasta Salad:
1 lb. ditalini pasta
1 small broccoli, florets
1 small English cucumber, diced
1/2 red onion, diced
2 c. grape tomatoes, halved
1 can black olives, halved
1 1/2 recipe of Creamy Italian Dressing
Directions: (1) Cook pasta according to package; (2) Place broccoli florets in a large serving bowl; (3) In a medium bowl place cucumbers, onion, tomatoes, and olives; (4) In a small bowl combine dressing ingredients; (5) When pasta is done, drain and add to bowl of broccoli and let sit until cooled down. This “cooks” the broccoli; (6) Add bowl with veggies to large bowl and toss and then add dressing and toss; (7) Chill for 3-4 hours before serving.
