Ingredients:
- 7-8 oz. elbow or shell pasta
- 2 TBSP butter
- 8 oz. American cheese (white or yellow), shredded or chopped
- 2/3 c. whole milk
- Black pepper, to taste
Directions:
- Pasta: In a pot of boiling salted water, cook pasta to just al dente. Drain but do not rinse and set aside.
- Cheese Sauce: In same pot you cooked your pasta, add the cooked pasta, butter, milk, cheese, and pepper. Cook over low heat, stirring occasionally until all cheese is melted, about 5 minutes.
- Reheat Leftovers: Add a splash of milk and slowly reheat in the microwave or on the stovetop.
