Maroulosalata (Greek Lettuce Salad)

Ingredients:

Salad:

  • 1 1/2 heads romaine lettuce, shredded
  • 5 sprigs green onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/3 c. fresh dill chopped
  • Optional veggies: sliced radishes, cucumbers, tomatoes, and/or olives

Dressing:

  • 2 TBSP olive oil
  • 2 TBSP vinegar (or substitute with lemon juice)
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • Honey, to taste, optional

Directions:

  1. Salad: In a serving bowl, add lettuce, green onion, fresh dill, and desired veggies.
  2. Dressing: In a jar with a lid (or a small bowl), add the olive oil through honey, if using, and shake/whisk to combine.
  3. Add Dressing to Salad: Add dressing to salad and toss to combine.
